I was talking to two friends yesterday who asked me to meet to discuss their new business venture. I was excited about the possibilites and I found it an “easy sale” to make. I knew they had experience and connections in the restaurant and enterntainment industry. This was something new that would get those small businesses exposure on the internet and “more butts in their chairs.” When I asked how many places they had been called on – the reply was shocking “Oh I don’t want to do the selling – that’s scarry. I need to find others who will.” How can they expect to train others to sell when they can’t sell the product themselves? Answer “We’ve got all the brochures- they can just take those in.” What to YOU think? Success or soon to be failure?
